Happy Birthday Sharon!

I had a great 70th birthday. I served in the bakery that day so here are some pictures. When visitors are not in that is the chair I sometimes sit in. On the table is the cake Dad made for me and the bear he gave me for my birthday. And the beautiful flowers and cute cupcakes and card that Jamie and girls gave to me. I heard from all of my kids and my mother, Uncle Jerry and Uncle Bill and Aunt Nina. My other daughter, Robin Jones also called. I love you all!!!

Our Last Day of Freedom!

This was our last day of freedom before we go on stage. This is our practice group. Sharon made a quick trip to Antarctica looking for penguins...ha ha. Just the Mississippi doing it's thing. It looked pretty with the snow.

Yesterday at the Family Living Center.

We still don't have a regular schedule. Lynn has been asked to do some welding for NRI next week. We have been trying to learn our songs and all of our scripts. Lynn has been practicing his spoons but has decided he has no more rhythm than a "sack of flour".

Sharon fell of the front porch yesterday and banged herself up pretty good. She got tangled up in her skirts and tore her dress. Luckily the water pump by the front door caught her fall and only managed to get as bent out of shape as Sharon did.

Christmas Eve "Caroling at the Temple"

We arrived in Nauvoo, unloaded the truck and went to the temple to sing Christmas Carols with all of the other senior missionaries. It was only -15 degrees with the wind blowing right on us from off the Mississippi river. What a great way to start our mission.
